I have decided to do something brave, daring, and ridiculously stupid. That's right -- I'm writing a novel next month. I'm following the guidelines of NaNoWriMo but doing it in June instead of November, for a couple of reasons. One, I have the bug now, and I want to do it NOW; two, I actually like November and would hate to miss it, however the

I'll totally bug you all you want. I'd almost be willing to give it a go myself, though I couldn't meet anywhere, as my transportation is nil. I may try and come up with some semblance of a plot or premise and join you on your tour through insanity, not sure yet. *hugs* You can do it!

No pressure at all - I realize it would be a huge decision to join in and write your own novel in just 30 days. However, don't worry about transportation. I would come to you if you wanted to set a weekly writing day. Or, barring that, we could always come up with an instant-messenger way of just keeping tabs on each other and commiserating, etc.

As far as plots and premises go, you really might want to pick up a copy of No Plot? No Problem! because he walks you through deciding what you like in a book and how to turn that into your own novel. There are some very cheap copies out there, but you may also borrow mine if you like.

I live all the way down in Hachie, so I'd hate to put you out as far as driving, but we could work out a day if you wanted. I have AIM, Yahoo, and MSN messanger, so that works too. I would love to see a copy of the book, though I will check to see if the local library has one first.
