Thanks.

well, they haven't banned body mod itself, but make pierces or tattoos at a studio as an illegal things. Only the person who has a license of docotor can do such a things on the other's skin under our law. But, who the hell want to make a pierce or even tattoos at a hospital ? man, I'm so fucked up this country.

I recently plan to have a new hole at my lip, but it seems to be hard under this circumststances :(

Only somebody with a doctor's license can pierce/tattoo!?!? Is it hard there to do that? Here it takes 12 plus years of higher education. Good grief. I think I would cry.

Hardness to getting doctor's license at here is same as an American case. So, It's almost impossible to find piercer who have such a license at here (well, I think it can said as whole over the world, isn't it ? :(

The law have been enforced since 2000. I hear that it is because some fatal accidents caused by the tattoo, the Japanese government decided to make it. They couldn't do anything unless somebody going to make a report to the police , so they had to let the illegal studio pass. But finally, it happened last week.
