"Как дела ?"には答えなら、"Нормально", "Неплохо"は答えてもいいのですが、それは"Спасибо, хорошо"と言う答えとはちょっと違いますけれど...

Usually you can (or rather should) add "Спасибо" (as in your example) to show some politeness towards your interlocutor, especially if he is your teacher/elder/superior. And note, that "Нормально" is more informal than "Неплохо", I think, so in conversation with elder/superior I would prefer "Неплохо" than "Нормально" if I don't feel myself totally fine ("Хорошо"), of course adding "Спасибо".
There are many very informal (but still rather tolerable) variants for answering on "Как дела?", but you can use them only with close friends otherwise you can be viewed as a rude person.

Да. Я был студент русский язык на японский университет.

とはいえ、ロシア語を習ったのはずいぶん昔の話だから上の一文打つだけでも辞書を片手に一苦労だけど・・・
あーもう文法とかすっかり忘れてしまった。今度NHKの語学講座でもやってみようかしら。
