yikes!

so i'm off to nyc right quick + was doing a final load of laundry before i pack. i like to come home to as many clean clothes as possible, a clean apartment + a frig with a few cold drinks + groceries ready! i'm pretty tidy by nature, so packing at last minute is a breeze + just requires some laundry, no big overhaul.

I was part of the CD trade with Karin this summer. But I was a bonehead and didn't put any kind of explanation with my CD. So, if you are curious, I posted an explanation on my journal-look for the entry with the "Thank You" card on it.
And OMG, my parent's house is always plagued with bats. They moved to a new house and you guessed it, it has bats!!

nice story! and your poor, poor neighbor -- i'm glad that you and the bat combined to give her a little distraction.

i'm on the same page about nature (esp. after this pivy thing (i like your contraction for it)) -- give me my biodiversity and bugs but not here! except spiders, which i feel just fine with, for some reason.

ah! i once went to a restaurant with a friend of mine and there was a bat loose in the place! a waiter had to shoo it out with a big net thing. totally scary! it was a kinda fancy restaurant, too!

i thought maybe it was some kind of sneaky marketing attempt cuz it was the weekend Batman Begins came out.
