it seems like ages since i have made a proper post. this won't exactly be that post either.
my trip to manhattan was, as always, wonderful.
it is my disneyland : the most magical place on earth.
that doesn't contain a beach + the ocean.

it rained a bit on friday + saturday {remmnants of ernesto} but that did not slow us down at all

In New Orleans, it is Angelo Brocato's and the restaurants of Uptown. In Houston, it's the Menil Collection and the parking garage beneath the Theatre District. In Seattle, it's Hana and the Victrola and Uwajimaya and the streets of Capitol Hill.

It's the places where I've eaten something special or seen something great. It's where my friends are and my loved ones. It's where the girl I love is, and it's where I find those small senses of home.

My special places....lots of trails, canyons, mountains. My cousin's house in Ecuador. My sister's house in Atlanta. And I hold Minneapolis in my heart because it's Midwestern yet still cool/fun (like me-ha ha ha!).

Thanks for sharing your trip! Walking, eating and shopping is the best in New York City. :D

My 'Disneyland' is actually...Disneyland. ^__^ I have a lot of memories from that place. Visits with friends, exes, people I lost touch with. Some memories are good, some are bad - but they're times I'll always remember.
