i just found an ant crawling on my arm. it took a moment for me to realize that it was an ant and when i did, i gave it a little talking to about it really shouldn't be there and apologized before i squished it. i then realized IT IS NEVER ONLY JUST ONE ANT and now am paranoid that somewhere in my apartment there is a legion of them now decrying ( Read more... )

Your first section reminds me of the Fire Ant episode of Space Ghost Coast 2 Coast. (which you clearly need to watch, if you haven't already.)

... I think I meant to write to. 2 is only for the abbreviation. I need less day sleep and more night sleep.

BUT YES IT IS AMAZING, YOU CLEARLY NEED TO CORRECT THIS

Gonna throw somethings at you before I start doing my WALKING HOME FROM CLASS. Do whichever/as many as you want!

→ FIVE things that MORRIGAN finds NOT-AS-IRRITATING-AS-OTHERS about Alistair.
→ FIVE things about/in the world IGGY actually does care about (at least a little).
→ FIVE things HELO thinks he might come to miss about Galactica.
→ FIVE presents that GLaDOS might privately want someone to give HER. (May be non-material things!)
→ FIVE activities the SONGBIRD enjoys that aren't singing. (Why, yes, I am asking her for opinions).

→ He is not my mother.
→ He has not killed me, though that then begs the question that he would be able to in the first place.
→ The Warden does seem to place some trust in him, and she is a far more sensible woman than most I have known.
→ Occasionally, he does not speak.
→ Surely, this list has gone on long enough already.

→ I suppose if we want to be obvious about things, I could say Clotho. If I wanted to be surprising, I would say Atropos instead.
→ And there is the bird-reader, of course, though his reverence can be a bit tedious. Too much self-sacrifice is never a good thing.
→ Not many remember the words to the songs once sung to the old gods. Those that do always earn favor, even if they do not sing to me.
→ Admittedly, I am partial to snow. Though I'm not meant to pick favorites, I always inevitably do.
→ Some of the old gods make for tolerable company. Yes, even Loki.

→ HER OLD BODY BACK
→ POWER, CONTROL, THE UPPERHAND
→ LOVE
→ SHE ALSO LIKES SHOES

→ Eat.
→ Sleep. Even though it's not necessary.
→ Wander in search of a master. Though usually it is they who seek out the black dog, not the other way around.
→ Sniff out Renata. Despite herself, she's come to expect it. We both know that now.
→ Witness death. Old habits die hard.

→ To have he and Jack become the sorts of men that kings would kneel in front of.
→ To twist Edward Nygma's tongue from his head and keep in a jar on the mantle in the front room.
→ To see Katurian inherit his true destiny.
→ To cut off Dr. Einstellsehn's head, so that he may kiss her on the mouth.
→ To return home, if only for a moment, so that he may see his mother again.

-stares at this thoughtfully.- When I had to volunteer for one of my courses. We read a story to the brats about a boy conversing with an ant who did not wish to be squished.

Pick and choose as it pleases you 8V

Five things Brendan-chan actually likes, whether he knows about it or not.
Five things that make Zipporah seriously angry.

Also, my self-indulgent option:

Five things Blackie would like to have said to Jack (perhaps not even specifically by himself)

→ REMEMBERED. The moth.
→ REMEMBERED. Attention, not being alone. Even though he never expects it.
→ FORGOTTEN. Really salty food. When Yggdrasil leaves him alone for longer periods of time, Brendan actually tends to rediscover this.
→ FORGOTTEN. Skateboarding. He's actually really good at it, though there are scars on his arms and his legs from when he wasn't so good at it.
→ FORGOTTEN. The idea of family. He had a little sister once.

→ When people tell her Jesus doesn't love her.→ Getting locked in her room 'for her own good' (she's known to climb out of windows for a reason).
→ When people make her upset so she falls asleep on purpose (see: some of her little brothers).
→ Wasps (she thinks they have a hidden agenda).
→ Mean people.

→ Cars. She doesn't particularly like them since she actually prefers horses even though most animals don't like the songbird. But they qualify as fascinating.
→ Jazz. Conor is sometimes partial to it and she was in cold-storage when it first came about. She has taught herself to mimic Ella Fitzgerald's voice perfectly.
→ Electronic music. Although she doesn't enjoy the music per say, it offers a brand new range of sounds to learn how to reproduce.
→ Digital recoding. Again, not something she likes since the fidelity of sound reproduction makes her feel old and antiquated, but gain. Interesting.
→ The cell phone. She doesn't actually know what the cell phone is or does. Only that Conor uses his a lot. So clearly it must be important.
