Basics
Name: Olivia
Age: 15 (16 in March. Woo-hoo. You can just feel the enthusiasm oozing. )
Gender: Last time I checked? Female.
You
Describe yourself (physical appearance): Shoulder-length, dark brown and thick (albeit messy) curls, pale skin with a peach tint. I'm ridiculously short (4'11''), this is magnified by the tall
rocking horse shoes I tend to wear. Somewhat deep-set, slightly slanted dark eyes.
Your personality in a nutshell (your key traits): Intuitive/observant, honest and (generally) unbiased (even if it means offending more traditional/conservative views), calm/laid back, empathetic, generous. Though it's probably important to mention: aside from these things, I'm incredibly inconsistent.
Likes: Tons of things! Music (of all kinds) is a large part of it, as well as writing, drawing and reading. I also enjoy analyzing people, situations or relationships - something about that is fun to me. Um, aside from that. I seem to give a lot. Advice, affection, money, food and shelter, more money, understanding, more.. money... Though I don't do it out of obligation - why else would this be in my Likes?
Dislikes: Stubbornness, dishonesty (whether it's to others or yourself), beating around the bush (though I'm probably a total hypocrite for that), close-mindedness - specifically when it includes prejudice of any kind, realizing mistakes when it's too late to correct them, leaving others in the dark, irrational hatred.
Hobbies/Talents: I don't like to brag (and another thing I forgot to add in dislikes - I hate it when people mistake overconfidence for self-confidence), but I'm an exceptional actress. My imagination and ideas are always in abundance, as well, though I need to remember to write them down more often.
Your pet peeves: Bad spelling and grammar. Though, even moreso, when I try to correct people in the most polite way possible and they totally blow me off. Orr.. when I'm treated with contempt and not given so much as a reason as to why I might deserve it. Also, hypocrisy - as an example: people accusing me of not listening to them even though they barely listen to me.
Your priorities in life: My number one priority probably has to do with caring for the people I love... and maybe just caring for the ones I don't really love but need me regardless. My second one? Total faith in my abilities to make things happen.. which seems more of a guideline than a goal at the moment, but. ¬_¬
Love-love-zura! ♥
First off, why are you filling out this application? I'm curious as to who I'd be most compatible with, in the eyes of other people. I seem to be best at judging everyone except for myself these days, sooo... Here I am.
Let's face it. We all have that fantasy of what our ideal partners would be like. So...how does your dream partner look like (physical appearance)? Physically speaking? I could honestly go for just about anything. But I seem to be partial to darker features.. hair and eyes, specifically. I prefer they be taller than me, and either toned or lanky (which must be matched with an even taller frame than if they're just toned - short and lanky is more dorky, if anything.) - rippling muscles and a guy that looks like he could kick your ass are turn-offs. If we're talking female, I like proportionate bodies; Nothing overtly large. For example, if there's a large chest it needs to be balanced with large hips, and vice-versa. But I prefer girls with curves.
What are you looking for (or what do you love, if you're already attached) in your significant other? Somebody I could just really get along with - I find it hard to even get a male friend whose presence isn't awkward to me. A great or similar sense of humor, engaging in conversation, engaging even if we're not in conversation, generally laid-back. Affectionate, but not suffocating and clinging to me all the damn time.. A guy or girl who knows when and when not to do things. In other words, supplied with a good intuition.
What turns you off/what aren't you looking for you in your significant other? Ones who are really clingy and always need to have "Where do we stand" talks. Just because we're together doesn't mean it needs to be blaringly obvious at every given moment. I'm also not into partners that want you to change yourself because the person they decided to be with apparently just wasn't 'good' enough in the first place. Oh.. and I'm not dumbing myself down in order to be understood.
Do you believe in love at first sight? Attraction and lust at first sight, yes. Maybe even chemistry at first sight. Love? Nah. That's something that grows from those initial three.
How would you describe your views on love? I don't believe it's restricted to any one gender - Actually I was always under the belief everybody was born with the capacity to be gay, it's just a matter of how much and upbringing. A little like raising rottweilers from birth to be family-oriented as opposed to bloodthirsty guardians. I mean it makes sense, it'd explain bi-curiosity. BUT THAT'S JUST PERSONAL OPINION.
How would you behave on your first date? I wouldn't have any particular behavior. Maybe a little awkwardness in the beginning, but aside from that.. I hate it when people try to put on some kind of special show to impress who they're trying to 'court'. In the end your real self will show through and it could've mislead the one you were dating into thinking you're, well.. someone you aren't. If we were all just honest with ourselves from the start we wouldn't be seeing so many relationships dissolve.
How do you view Valentine's Day in general? Yay. I get chocolate. That's about it. ¬_¬
What would be your 'happily ever after'? God help me if such a thing exists. I get the feeling 'happily ever after' would get boring after a while. For the sake of this question, though... I dunno. Rocking out with the person I love, I suppose.
Just for kicks!
Your favorite pairing in Princess Tutu: Fakir/Ahiru.
Your least favorite pairing: Mytho/Rue. Half of it is bland because he's so ridiculously stoic and unfeeling, and the other half is insane and abusive (though I must say, Raven Mytho is hilariously hedonistic). Then, at the end, all the drama is washed away for a storybook ending. It just.. it never seems satisfying. I don't hate it, though, because it was only logical they end up together.
Your favorite crack!pairing (if any): I've seen some pretty cute Fakir/Autor fanart, though I can't see how that would truly pan out were it canon..
Other
Gender preference for your stamping options? Both, please. I don't like to limit myself in choices, especially over something trivial.. like characters for a fictional series.. xD
Anything else? Vote link text based on the song Lovefool, by The Cardigans. <3 that band.
