Basics
Name: Susan
Nickname: Sue, Suzie, or online as Raine
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality
Describe yourself (how you perceive yourself -- can be as short or as long as you want! ;) ): I perceive myself to be a split person. I have shown sides such as being either spastic and loud, or sometimes being calm and quiet. I think mostly I am a lazy, pessimesstic, undecisive reserved individual who tends to be very closed off to people or easily annoyed, only opening myself up to people I trust, which is very few people. A bit of a dreamer too I suppose.
You've heard people say you are: Loud, Lazy, Pessimesstic, Reserved, Annoying, Forgetful, Unrealistic, "Mean", list goes on but usually fall along that line. As to the "mean" thing, I've heard people tell me I'm mean because I act angry or annoyed at them and brush them off when they try to open a conversation with me, but I have my reasons for that.
Overall, would you say your life is:
Peaceful/Full of conflict?: To be honest, I would say full of conflict. I'm struggling through school, have my own mental problems and anxieties, and having to deal with problems at home. It could be worse, but it could be better.
Filled with other people/Full of Solitude?: Mostly solitude. I have a few friends here and there and a family that I care about, but honestly I spend most of my time alone and I think I secretly prefer it that way.
In general, would you say you are (expound if you can, please)...
Loud/Quiet?: Both. My friends tell me that I am loud when I talk, but most of the time I am quiet and attempt to keep to myself.
Faithful/Skeptical?: Skeptical. I always question things.
Realist/idealist?: Both. I think I speak realistically but think ideally.
Shy/outgoing?: Shy. It takes me a while to make friends.
An extrovert/an introvert?: Introvert. I keep more to myself than I let out.
An optimist/pessimist?: Pessimist. I always look and think about the negative first before the positive.
Music-Related
Favorite song/s: I have a lot, so I don't really have a favorite, as my favorites change all the time. Most of them are in Japanese though.
Favorite artist/s and/or composers: Nightwish, Linkin Park, Evanescence, and Avril Lavigne for American music; Ali Project, See-saw, Orange Range, and Meg Rock for Japanese music.
Favorite lyrics: (current favorite)
One day, an inversed butterfly will fly towards the light...
...by your side, in the mirror, as you cut your hair.
Footsteps echo in the hallway during class...
...bringing with them the sound of endless rain.
I can feel a radient existence
It blooms into a sweet flower...
...but bears poisonous fruit.
~Translated lyrics of "The Inversed Butterfly" by Snow
What sounds (e.g. birds singing) do you find pleasing to the ear? And vice versa?: I think I prefer natural sounds like birds singing or just the general sound you would hear if you were out in the woods...nature? Life? I don't really know how to describe that. I hate loud sounds though, like cars or mostly city type noises, although it wouldn't bother me too much.
What genre/s or type/s of music do you prefer? Which ones do you dislike?: I like classical music mostly, music that is sort of soft and carries some sort of meaning too it, rather than the random shouting of heavy metal. I do like some rock, mostly Japanese rock because American rock is usually the same as heavy metal.
If your life had a soundtrack, what songs would be in it? Why?: It would be a two disc soundtrack knowing me on for American music and one for Japanese music, but songs I can think of right now are...
(not in order)
1. Sakasama no Chou (The Inversed Butterfly) by Snow. For some reason I think it makes me think of myself.
2. Sasuke's Theme from Naruto. If I was to have my own theme music that would follow me around to represent me, it would be that.
3. The music of the Sootballs from Spirited Away. Lyricless music that seems to show the awkwardness of life and situations you get into. Sometimes I swear I can hear this music in the background of my day to day activities in school or at home.
4. Clover by Meg Rock. It speaks of wanting to to find the answers to stories and life and trying to seek your own happily ever after.
5. Mezamero Yasei by Matchy with Question. It speaks of how even if things are bad,as long as you get out there and try, then things will get better.
6. Mia no Uta from Death Note. I think it makes me think of how someone is always watching over you no matter what and to help teach you everything you know, but yet questions what you would do after you've learned everything there is to know.
7. Imaginary by Evanescence. Sort of a dreamer's song, of wanting to stay in your fantasy world rather than be swept up by reality.
8. Eternity "Memory of Lightwaves" from the FFX2 game. It's calm and peaceful and leaves you with a feeling of serenity, yet it can also hold a depth of sorrow to it.
9. End of All Hope by Nightwish. For the pessimist in me, mostly.
10. Dante by Ooshima Michiru. It holds a depth of seriousness and tragedy, which are things that must be faced in life.
11. Believe in Myself by Jun Senoue. As the title suggests, it's all about believing in yourself!
12. In the Land of Twilight, Under the Moon by Yuki Kajiura. In a way, it's about wearing a mask and trying to put on an act for the idiots because you don't want them knowing the real you.
If you were trapped in a room (feel free to enhance on this scenario) and had to listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?: Possibly either something like "Hinata vs. Neji" or "Sadness and Sorrow" by Toshiro Masuda because that would suck if you were trapped in a room for the rest of your life. But if I wanted to try to make light of the situation, then I would choose Morning Grace (Princess Tutu opening theme) because it's something that's both upbeat and downbeat. In the middle. And I could probably easily live with hearing it in the background and not go crazy, where as my two previous choices might always leave me with a feeling of gloom.

And I don't seem to have much taste for music, since most of it is from anime and videogames ^_^
