i love seeing carlos and alex celebrate on the sidelines. and i've always wanted to read a fic with them, and here it! i like this a lot. and i absolutely adore this line.

And suddenly, he found himself in love. Surely, he had his wife, for whom he sustained a real affection. Nonetheless, the new feeling wasn’t affection, it was love. That kind of love that the 66 year old man never thought could be possible, but there it was. Every time he saw Carlo’s smile, the oxygen in the room seemed to be gone and Alex felt like a teenager once again.
