Hi,
You kindly sent me a link for icon tutorials.
I've just done one for a pal, that I'm quite happy with and would appreciate your opinion.
OK it's wildly simple and I did use mostly either on-line sources and clip art but considering that I'm only using a MAC something like seven months and teaching myself PS. It's clean. I just loved getting into the removing flaws and fixing bits.
Hope that you had a decent 'Xmas and that 2007 has been a promising year for you so far.

Hello,
Easiest if you click on the link. You'll see the latest Pullo icon that I like because of the cleanness. Next I'll start catching up with some of the more current icon styles going.
Your work is excellent and very memorable! And I'd certainly remember you because of your kindness. Again thanks.

Tuulia, I did get your comment posted to my email earlier this week. And I replied promptly -- only to have the eblog, block it and bounce it back : / Sorry. I had meant to track you down here or on the merely marcus blog and respond. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance. *Real life* has hoit and I've reved-up my job search this week and am drowning in CV's, on-line searches, interviews and packing to move countries. Have "friended" you here and would like to keep in touch. My email is: merely dot marcus at googlemail dot com. Will explain in depth but your "girly" stuff reminds me of a fab fashion photographer I worked with in NYC! Go for it!

He he -- very cool! Thanks.
"Wow, I'm being compared to a fashion photographer?! You're being way too nice here!"
Actually not and I've been desperately trying to recall her name. Joyce. Joyce ? Tenneson!? Thats it! Joyce Tenneson. She did a romantic, very feminine and seductive look with intensive styling and details added but a bare arm was like a naked body as the model drew off a formal glove sort of thing. Amazing lighting.
She moved on style wise and developed a more personal and defined "look" doing celebrity portraiture I believe. But very very nice stuff. Still does the lighting and "wrap-like" poses.
I just loved the way you did a distinctive fem/frilly bit and collages. Great! So was that very fresh colouring! But hey -- I'm into 18thC men's make-up at the moment. :D :D
