I went to a Phil Lesh and Friends concert today in Berkeley and couldn't even stand it enough to sit through the second set. It was so fucking awful, their lead singer was like.. 19 or something and kept moving around too much on top of the fact that he reminded/sounded like someone out of a boy band which does NOT work with the music. it can be a real bummer when the tribute band is better than the lead of the actual band. I'd be a little annoyed. Just goes to show, the old Berkeley adage, when in doubt, smoke a joint. and dance. ok, so I just made that up. the point is, sorry your concert was lame. Sometimes there's nothing worse than a lame concert. I would have ditched out too. Hope the DSO goes better!
