Stormy, not any spoiler, but there's a verbal Archer reference (and utterly squee worthy!...though i might have been one of the few in the theater to understand it); thought of you! when you see it let me know what you think!

Okay, now I saw the movie today and was listening for this "Archer" reference, but I didn't catch it! Grrr. We went to Chunky's and the waiter didn't come to take our order until the movie had started. Was it near the beginning? Ben, private message me if you don't want to "spoil" it for Stormy. Thanks!

She's seen it by now (twice, i believe!) The archer reference went like this. When Kirk and Spock first meet up with Scotty, he's explaining why he got stuck on that shit outpost and goes off about his being able to transport something like an orange between planets in the same system and tested it on "Admiral Archer's prize beagle"...which still hasn't turned back up.

Oh, no! I heard "Admiral" and "beagle" but didn't hear the name, or I would have got the connection. Poor Porthos!
