So I haven't posted in forever. That's mainly because nothing's happening. I'm on a new project now where I enroll people employed by the City of Dallas in their health benefits. It's pretty dry stuff, but I like the people I'm working with.
I'm lonely. Not so that I'd get really depressed, but just... living alone sucks now. I didn't have the means to cook last night (no pantry + small fridge = fail) and I'm burned out on fast food, so my only option was to go out to eat. I HATE DOING THAT. It reminds me how alone I am, and that makes me sad. So I called my parents and talked to them; it made me feel better. Then I went to Applebees and got a beer and some weight watchers stuff that was pretty tasty.
I'm down 22 lbs. I will meet my goal, and nothing will stand in my way. I am consistently hitting the gym, and I am not cheating on the diet. I am doing this.
jeN called me a couple nights ago and said that her baby was not there yet. She was initially due on August 15th, but then the midwife (she's doing a home birth) said that she just wasn't ready. So, new date was last Sunday. Couple weeks, and we'll see! She's also building a house with her husband, Grant. I can't wait to see them at the wedding!
That reminds me. You are all coming. There are no excuses. I am flying Rin in, and Ky is coming in a tux. She had BETTER not look better than me. XD
