According to the TV Feeds My Family blog, ratings for the second episode of Shattered went down, for an estimated 375,000 viewers across Canada. They're saying Shattered is in the grip of the "First new show of the season" curse, of which only a handful of shows has survived in the last 35 years, or so says this guy who has too much time on his ( Read more... )

Nielson was saying, in Variety, that they're trusting the ratings less because of the whole online thing. my feeling, they kept THE BRIDGE for another season, SHATTERED should be ok for at least one season. I found it didn't get nearly enough press, so I'm totally gunning for it to do well. Come on Canucks. Maybe CKR can get a spot on the hour, to do some crazy promotions... mm the hour :P

MINE TOO! I feel so delayed in this canuck loving fandom. I'm having such a hard time finding films and shows with CKR AND Hugh in them. It kills. Like Love Crimes... but CKR on the Hour would be AMAZEBALLS. Hardcore.

They're just counting the ones watching Global, when it "officially" airs. Which is why the whole ratings thing bugs me. Your data is inaccurate, TV networks! *shakes fist*

This is true. Even reality TV here isn't as huge as it is in the USA. I guess I'm just afraid Shattered will get passed over as "just another" cop show :/

Then it's quite possible they're counting the Showcase viewers too. Either way, so far I've ended up watching both episodes twice in a row because that is completely normal and not obsessive at all.

I found one other download besides *cough* the ones here about two days ago but I had to go through strange, Russian advertisements to get there. It was HD though!
