Oh, I completely agree. I can't make sense of my thoughts sometimes, let alone worry about other peoples'.

And that's the thing - thoughts aren't really words. They're images and feelings and sensations and smells and tastes and all sorts of abstract things we can't really label. So to get that constantly from someone else - yeah, no. Thanks, but no thanks :/

Take what your brain did there and speed it up 10x.
Then put it in stereo with two different channels playing.

You don't want that in your head.
It would be like mindrape.

Nope definitely not, for me too. Although that's sort of what I think it would be like to be part of a gestalt - in my headspace new gestalts are able to handle it because they're essentially born to it, and can filter the babble and less flattering thoughts of their teammates same as they would their own.
