It's in cases like these I like to remind people of the following saying:
'Who cares if the world is ending today - it's already tomorrow in Australia.'
So, reporting to you from tomorrow (~16 hours difference or whatever it is), I can safely say that as of 7.30pm, the world still hasn't ended.
Everyone just needs to decide on one date already and stick to it, so that I can stock up on my alcohol and throw a correctly-dated End of the World Party :)
Lol, that's one of my favorite things when it comes to "APOCALYPSE WILL DESCEND UPON US ON DATE X!" - they never bloody mention which time zone it will happen in. And if there is a prophecy that the world will end March 7th 2017 EST my eyes will roll themselves out of their sockets.
Obviously it's going to end in America, because everybody knows that's the centre of the world - or at least, Western civilisation.
Dare I ask what's so special about the 7/3/2017? And EST? (I need to learn more about time zones. All I know is eastern Australia and Japan share the same one)
...I feel bad, but I am lolling so much at "America, center of Western civilization." But yeah, the US-centrism burns.
It was the first date that popped into mind, ahahaha. And the first abbreviation for a time zone that I could remember. Though it would've been awesome had it been GMT+1 instead. :D You know, for us folks that live in the future compared to the Center of the Universe and Everything.
