Air Raid/Slingshot

If they weren't a gestalt, Slingshot would probably have never given Air Raid a second look, and Raider would likely have been happy to ignore him back. But because of the gestalt bond, Air Raid is very hard to ignore.

Air Raid is by nature extremely protective and loving of his gestalt, and will very actively drag Slingshot out for cuddles and loving, ensuring that the smaller jet doesn't get left out. In return Slingshot is as fiercly protective to Raider as Raider is to him.

That's mean, just because I've already said it all. I should just link you to the post on the subject.

Still...

Sandstorm is a manipulative bastard by nature, and the only reason that Fireflight doesn't get it is because those big blue optics are very good at making the triplechanger feel guilty for doing it. Also, because Fireflight represents a lot of his own youth, before he got all twisted around and broken. To Fireflight, Sandstorm is fascinating, and very alluring. He might be dangerous and bad for the jet, but Fireflight can't stay away.

Someday either Fireflight will end up twisted and hurt, or more likely it seems, Sandstorm will have mostly healed. Likely, bother will happen to some extent. the jet will loose some of his innocence, and Sandstorm is definitely sofening from his lover's influence.

Skydive/Red Alert has been tickling my fancy lately, as has Skydive/Perceptor.
skydive likes his intellectual types, and a secret submission kink. Plus he's well-behaved, observational and patient. I see all these traits as attractive to both Percy and Red.

I got into this one because, I don't know, I think I got into Kalaryx's fic-list one day and started reading. Still, something about it caught my attention. Probably the fact that it was an Aerialbot, and more unusual, Slingshot.

And then you buggers got me hooked on the pairing. They're not a perfect couple(Group?) but they try, and sure, city and jet are almost complete opposites, but they all try to make the relationship work. The big thing is that its one of those relationships that yo see develop, which a lot of fics don't bother with/do somewhat ridiculous. they two lonely people, thrown together by chance, and they eventually realized that they weren't lonely anymore.

Haha, oops? ;P Our bad! They're such a fucked up, weird, mismatched, strange couple and they still manage to make it work without it being wholesome ooc and other such icky stuff. (Andwell, you hear about people falling in love with the city they visited all the time. It's just that the city fell in love back. :3)

Silverbolt/Hot Spot

These guys are best friends turned fuckbuddies turned lovers, to me, basically. They have always gotten along well, and often help each other out when the gestalt is being bad. Its a very much equal relationship, and very stable, though they tend to squabble pointlessly at times when they're stressed. It never takes them long to make up though.

Hot Spot is a Safe Place for Silverbolt; t the jet just likes having someone he can cuddle up to at any time of the day and fall asleep with, no questions asked, and he lets Spot do the same for him.
