"I mean he doesn't come around, he doesn't call, he doesn't write. And, yeah, I understand the whole Gigi thing and everything but, um, hello! Been standing right here this, like, entire time. And not complaining mind you."
"So you are talking about what I think you're talking about."
"Because I don't complain. I am not a complainer. You ask Mom. She will tell you. I do not complain."
"Have to agree there. Give your mother the wrong thing and the entire town knows about it. You just take the pickles off and--"
"But that doesn't mean I'm not upset, y'know."

"Because I am. I have waited a ridiculously long time for something that was apparently never going to happen. And now, now he decides to show up and step in and be all...father-like."
