My colloquium presentation went really well this week. I really feel as though going early has helped me get back on track with my thesis. I mean, the thesis is good, but I was previously having a hard time pulling it all together in a narrative of sorts. Now, that is no longer the case :-)

No plans for the honeymoon as of yet. I have to finish writing my thesis before March 21st if I want to defend and graduate on time. Also, because I teach at Ryerson and Humber (and Rob is teaching at Brock), I can't really afford to take time off until May. We're thinking of maybe taking a cruise or something in the summer, but that depends on a number of variables and such.

So instead, we're staying at a B&B in NOTL for two days as a sort of mini honeymoon of sorts.
