- sauriemilia Damon and Elena are heading back to MF for Christmas but they get stuck in the middle of nowhere (could be a motel, the car, etc...) So they are forced to improvise their Christmas (meal, gifts) with whatever comes in handy. Give me some happiness and fun for these two pretty please!

Everybody else has gone out of town to celebrate. Elena has settled for no Christmas times this year because she knows she has an eternity of them ahead of her, but Damon won't accept her spending her first Christmas as a vamp alone and unhappy. He takes her to somewhere which shows her genuine beauty and makes her smile for the best Christmas ever!

So, I want to see the three of them still working out exactly how this OT3 thing works, set during New Years (in particular I would like to see them deal with the kiss at midnight). Emphasis on the idea that it really is okay for Elena to love them both, as long as she is honest about it in ways that Katherine wasn't. Also the level of actual Damon/Stefan is flexible so if you would prefer to veer away from incest then feel free but I am not squicked by it if you want to go another way. But I would like to see their relationship in some way because it probably is the most interesting when it comes to this particular OT3.
- tvdbonesfanatic AH/AU - Damon has just come back home from University in San Diego after not being back since his mother's death three years ago. He comes home to find a different Elena, rebellious and wild, than the one he left behind due to her mother's death from cancer. Her father Grayson and Damon's best friend Jeremy ask Damon to help Elena face herself because Damon went through a similar phase when his mother passed. Can Damon save Christmas and how will Elena deal with the boy whom she lost her virginity to coming back? Include flashbacks of the Christmas of Damon and Elena's first loving making.

- txvdfan AU or canon. Prompt: This is the second Christmas after Elena's lost her parents, the first after she's lost Jenna and Alaric. Last Christmas, she'd been focused just on staying alive, but now things have kind of returned to normal in Mystic Falls...or as normal as Mystic Falls gets. Elena's trying to pretend that everything's ok for Jeremy's sake and is trying to create the standard Gilbert Family Christmas, but as Christmas gets closer it becomes evident (at least to those who know her best) that she's NOT doing well with the upcoming holidays. A very observant Salvatore comes to the rescue - taking Elena (Jeremy is optional on the trip) on a Christmas getaway Bonus points: I LOVE Walt Disney World at Christmas. If you can get Damon to take Elena to Disney, that would be amazing - love the Osborne lights at Hollywood Studios Extra bonus points: If Jeremy's with them, and ghost Alaric makes a visit at some point, that would be pretty cool too.

When Elena gets a phone call from home (from who is up to you) to wish her a Merry Christmas, she realizes how much she really misses her friends, so Damon decides to make it up to her by giving her a Christmas that she'll always remember. (Including a visit from her family and friends on Christmas itself is optional)

I don’t have a preference as to where they end up or if it’s Christmas Eve/Day or New Year’s Eve, although New Year’s Eve in a foreign city does sound appealing... Anyway, when Damon finds her she is almost like Katherine and after some arguments and convincing her that everyone loves her still and wants her back, he tells her his true feelings and her humanity is restored when she is forced to confess her feelings for him. Smut ensues; be as creative as possible :)

- vanagonne I'm a fan of the relationship between all three: Damon/Elena/Stefan. I love the relationship between brothers (as brothers, not incestual but that love and bond we see in the show every so often). I do lean more towards Damon/Elena because i'm a sucker for forbidden/unrequited love. Anyway, I would LOVE to have Elena "kidnapped" by the brothers on christmas eve. She's not in a good place with either brother and hasn't heard from them much since she pushed them away after her first kill. So, somewhat canon as I don't know what is going to happen of course, I am not really picky about that. They take her somewhere to celebrate Christmas. Don't care if there is or isn't smut, just so long as there's comfort and some angst.

Elena sees Damon leaving the boarding house with a bottle of bourbon is his hand. Curiosity gets the best of her and she follows him, ending up hearing him talk to Ric at the cemetery. Her heart breaks at seeing him so vulnerable and she decides to make sure he gets a nice start of the new year. At 12 o'clock she goes to his room and hands him a present (up to you to decide what it is) that makes him break down entirely. He hates himself for showing Elena his true emotions, but instead of running away Elena comforts him in ways no other person possibly can.

- lcra13 Angst is my thing when it comes to literature, I love to write it and read it. Here is my Christmas wish: lena has a hard time finding a gift for Damon - because what do you guy for the guy that you didn't pick, but can't let go of, right? She ends up finding the perfect gift and gives it to Damon in front of everyone as they open presents at the Boarding house. Damon snaps - because mixed signals and all - Elena runs after him, confession plays out and smut would be uncharacteristic, but amazing kiss needs too happen and teasing and hormones going crazy.Tons of angst would be highly appreciated and I don't really want a happy ending.
- tn09 Our 6 main characters (Elena, Damon, Stefan, Caroline, Bonnie, and Jeremy) are sitting in the Boarding House on Xmas Eve but none of them feel like celebrating. Bonnie then takes out a snowglobe that she has used magic on: whoever shakes the snowglobe will be transported into their version of the perfect Christmas (i.e. what they truly wish for). So all the 6 characters shake the snowglobe and fall into a trance/dream. The other 4 characters all have their own dreams (not necessary to go into detail) but Damon and Elena realize that they are within the same dream...because they are each other's true wish ;) What happens within the dream is up to you!

It may be a bit of a challenge, but given the Winter theme and the fact that I'm a huge fan of fairy tales, my prompt is this: Write a D/E version of Hans Cristian Anderson' The Snow Queen. Damon needs to be in the role of Kai and Elena in the role of Gerda, but I leave it up to you what other parts of the story you'll use, which characters you'll include (or change, like making the troll a witch, etc.) and how mature you are gonna make the story.
- elizabeth85cec MISTLETOE! Damon has reached his limit when it comes to Elena and not accepting her true feelings for him, so he decides to pull away from her COMPLETELY. Avoiding her , ignoring her, making it seem like she never existed. Put some balls back into our favorite vampire. Of course, she notices and hurt as she realizes what she's put him through she attempts to prove to him that she feels the same way, but he's just not buying it. This is where the mistletoe comes in {has to be in there} they end up at a Christmas party somewhere {at a friends, town function, whatever} and what proves to him that she's serious is that they ended up accidentally under mistletoe and doesn't hesitate to make her feelings known when it's pointed out to them. Smut ensues. M- Mature! A big crowd is a plus, especially if it happens in front of Stefan. It's kind of specific so if you have a different idea, as long as mistletoe brings them together and they end up in bed, I won't mind.

It can end up in smut, but that's not the point of it. I may be in a gloomy mood myself these days and I find I enjoy more the comfort of giggles, kisses and cuddles...
