"Wait... if we're allowed to reply to any prompt, does that mean there will be more replies than prompts total?"
Essentially, YES! In the spirit of the holidays this exchange will be all about giving. Therefore multiple responses to prompts are encouraged. However, I will try my best to make sure every prompt has at least one fill.

Are we allowed to fill a prompt if we didn't give a prompt?

No, it's never been allowed for organizational purposes. I want to keep Author-to-Author as mutual giving & receiving, keeping TVD Mixing as a community vs a prompt meme.

However, you are allowed ask me to be an Elf Author!

Around or on Dec 28th, I check the list for any unwritten stories and ask authors (outside the exchange) to take them on as a secret surprise. If you're interested just let me know & I'll contact you then. You can take a look at the needed list and see if you can fill one.

It's important for every prompt to get written! :D
