Observation
"Who do those two think they're fooling?" Ryan asks his partner, shaking his head.
Esposito looks up and follows his gaze across the room to where Beckett and Castle were arguing about something at her desk.
"I know man, it's getting harder to watch," Esposito said with a displeased look on his face.
"They're obviously crazy about each other. I mean, everyone can see it."
"Dude, even blind people can see what's going on between those two."
They stopped talking to watch Beckett push Castle's hands away from her keyboard. Castle balled up a piece of paper and threw it at her head.
"Uh-oh."
"Not a good move," Ryan said, holding his breath.
But instead of the fierce rebuttal they expected from her, Beckett simply threw her pen at Castle's head playfully. It hit him squarely in the nose and she laughed.
Ryan and Esposito watched as an all-out stationery war broke out, Castle and Beckett both giggling and squealing like schoolgirls having a pillow fight.
"You know, I find the fact that they're still denying they have feelings for each other a little insulting," Esposito said as he watched Castle empty a hole-punch onto Beckett's head.
"Yeah!" Ryan exclaimed indignantly, "Like we're not good enough detectives to figure that one out," he remarked sarcastically.
He paused for a moment before adding quietly "we're not that obvious, right?"
"Oh God no. They don't have a clue about us," Esposito said with a wink before turning his attention back to his computer screen.
"Good," Ryan said with a smile.
