The weekend was quiet, which was a good thing since I was on call for work. NOthing blew up so I got paid an hour's work for each of the two days. Sunday we had our family tri-birthday party with cake! Ice cream cake actually which I really like. My niece gave me a big bucket of a mug for "Tea Freaks"  to get their pot on :) Just about big enough!

Wow, I don't think much of your standby rates! We used to get 33% - so ~5 hours pay for the overnight, and 8 hours for the weekend (standby for me was a rolling schedule of 1 week on and 3 weeks off between 4 of us). Happy days!

It's not great, but if i did get a call it's time and a half, minimum 3 hours I think and double time if it's on Sunday. I rarely have to be on call at least.
