So I feel like I understand/know what you are going thru, even though I HATE when people say "I know what you are going thru" to me. Paul and I are still "official" separated, but we are in the "getting back together" phase. It was BY FAR the HARDEST 2 months of my life when we were TRULY apart (we split on dec. 7), but this is how i looked at it, or tried to convince myself to look at it

Hey Mike. First to get the silly part out of the way: as if basketball didn't suck enough, college? Womens? I hope the NHL is back in action next year. Sounds like you could use it. At least try and stick to the NBA. Notice the absence of a "W" ahead of that NBA.
Anyway, I'm sorry to hear you had a sucky weekend. Though it sounds like things got a little better with your guys' second talk. I don't think I have any personal experience similar enough to offer advice. But if you ever want to get some stuff off your chest, I am more than willing to listen. Or you can come over for a couple days. I wish you the best, whatever it may be.
Thank you for the kind words about the Pope. I am Catholic and he did mean a lot to me, so I appreciate it.
Your friend.
PS- If the icon seems cheesy to you, the three I have are George W, a UM football helmet, or the cross. Figured it'd be best to avoid UM and W.
Thanks everyone, for the advice, well-wishing, and friendship, I truly appreciate it. Bryan and I were just talking today about the fact that good friends don't have to talk all the time, just connect when they do talk. It really means alot to me that you guys are here for me when I need you.
As for the pope, you don't have to be Catholic for him to mean alot to you or for you to notice his greatness. He will be remembered as one of the greatest religious leaders and one of the greatest men in history. The world is worse not having him in it.
And I like the icon, its also very neutral. People may hate your political views or favorite sports teams, but they usually tolerate your religious beliefs...except for those fucking Muslims! (j/k)
