Yay, I've started spec'ing again. I just started being enthusiastic about the show again.

I was thinking about the spoilers out and the fact that Veronica has some insecurity and jealous problems with Logan. Everyone is afraid that they would have Logan cheating on Veronica and that will be the cause of their breakup. I was fearing this too ( Read more... )

I never really saw Logan as the 'bad guy' in the relationship. Yeah, he was too invested in making the PCHers pay, but I always thought that Veronica could have done something instead of break it off with him. From his reaction in NiTWW, I'd gotten the impression that that had been the first time she'd brought up the whole thing. Well, she'd complained about his 'obsession' I'm sure, but she'd never said 'You need to back off, because I don't think I can be with you if you don't.' I don't think she really tried. BUT that's probably just me and its all water under the bridge...

And from what I know of Logan's character, there's no way he would cheat on her. Lilly had cheated on him, his father on his mother, so he know's what its like and he can't do it. But of course, there could be some sort of character flaw I know nothing about ( ... )

I totally agree with this. As a matter of fact, there has been discussion on Logan LoVers that if they set it up where Logan cheats then it would be OOC. There is a fear going around in fandom where they think that Logan will cheat and that would be the reason they break up. Anybody who knows me knows that I will defend Logan till the end. So, if they break up (which we all hope they don't), I would rather it be because Veronica cheats. And, I know that RT will have to put the blame on Logan in some type of way.

Ooh yay! =D I must have missed the discussions over at Logan LoVers. Bwa! Must check it out indeedy.

And it would be out of character. Very much so. Aside from the fact that he practically worships the ground she walks on (okay, so that may be a BIT much, but dude!) with snarky comments the whole way, its just... blah. If they had Logan cheat on her, it would seem to me that they were desperate for an out for the L/V relationship and couldn't bring themselves to make Veronica the bad guy. And at that point I'd probably be very tempted to stop watching (but would continue in the desperate hope that it was alllll a weird dreeeeam ( ... )
