TRIVIA!!!

Jul 13, 2004 13:23

This all came about at my bball game last night, when someone said that there are only 5 white guys since 1980 to average 20 or more points per game. Bill and I did some research and found 15 of them. How many can you name without cheating? Based on my answers last night, I had 12 of them. Winner gets a prize, maybe.

Bryant "Big Country" Reeves. Yao Ming (he's white, isn't he?). I'm also inclined to say John Stockton, the whitest of white people.

1. Larry Bird
2. Kevin McHale
3. Dirk Nowitzki
4. Chris Mullin

Price was close, but never did it. Let's see, a little help on a few... There's a few foreign guys left, a couple older big men, and a few southwestern power forwards. There's another that no one will think of, but he's in the league now. More hints as you need em.

Good calls on Peja and Drazen, that puts us at 6. Walton never averaged 20, Barry ended his career in 80 with about 13 a game. Skiles holds the record for most assists in a game 30, but never averaged 20 points. Neither did thunder dan (but 2 of the guys on the list used to play for that team).

1. Larry Bird
2. Kevin McHale
3. Chris Mullin
4. Dirk Nowitzki
5. Drazen Petrovic
6. Peja Stojakavic

Think Denver Nuggets management (2 of them). And think of my keychain... and Dre's user name...that's enough for now
