I'll be shutting down Shattering the Earth in seven (7) days. Sorry to have to do this, but I can't afford to keep it running anymore. I'm a poor college student and I won't even be able to update it again anyways. :(

Thought I'd give people a head's up so that they can save any fics/links and stuff.

I know. I still wonder what "you haven't seen the last of these characters" means, though, if they're being integrated into the DCU or what. I guess if they stay an alternate universe that wouldn't be so bad.

Probably means that DC will use some of the big names for money pulls (Midnighter, Grifter, maybe Zealot) before killing them off. LMAO

All of my fics will be staying on my LJ! I have a permanent account here, so even if I stopped updating this journal, it wouldn't go anywhere :D

Everyone else's fics on the site will continue to remain hosted on the respectful owner's sites/journals/profiles so long as they choose to keep them up. That was why I always preferred to keep a link list of fics there rather than to actually upload them.

Actually I wouldn't mind that at all. Obviously I put a lot of work into specific areas of it, so I'd hate to see it all get flushed down the internet craphole. If someone else has the interest to do it, who the hell am I to say no? :)
