Firstly:

Thanks for joining and signing up! I know all three of us Mods were really excited about the idea of a beta community for Torchwood - still are, if we’re going to be brutally honest - and we are grateful for all the ideas that were left on badly_knitted’s journal. I sort of prefer DW at this point. So, a mirror there is great to me. I'm assuming it wouldn't be an 'active' community where commenting and etc is happening?

Yes, it's active as well :) Not as active as we'd like, given that fandom is rather more rampant here on LJ. Anything you can do here on the LJ community, can and is welcomed on the DW community.

I agree with you whole-heartedly. LJ has (lately), lost it's sparkle for me. The only thing I rather enjoy about it, is the tag-selection feature; which has proven handy in helping set the tags up for the community.

Hehe, that's okay, it's been a pretty hectic four (or five, I can't remember) days.

The information for beta profiles on LJ can be found Here and if you're inclined to add to the DreamWidth mirror community, they can be found on DW Here

And it won't be junking up the page, we promise. Every beta profile is just one more valuable resource for a fic writer :)

Haha, thanks :) I saw the quote at a convention earlier this year about half an hour before I met GDL and it kinda stuck. I had been hoping to get a shirt, but the King Ianto's Coffee Club stall had sold out by the time I worked my way back to them... Snaggable if you like. :)
