My assumption (only cause we've got the same shit going on here, too) is flooding. We've had about 2,000+ people (1/10th of our population) evacuated from Keene.
The good news is the rain's stopping tonight. The bad news is the winds are picking up tomorrow, and there's massive fears about trees being uprooted from the wet grounds. So where we used to have flood damage, we may now have fallen-tree damage to worry about. :D
Last time I heard, we were up to 3-4 dead from the floods. And that's just Cheshire County, NH. I haven't a clue what's going on elsewhere with all this rain. I'm just glad we MIGHT have a sunny day next week.
