Finally heard back from company B.  While I was at a client's place today.  It was hard to answer the phone and talk about a job offer when I'm standing in front of the client, asking me about what I plan to do with his network.  They offered me a few thousand more than I'm getting now.  Plus the commute shrinks by about 10 minutes.  Plus no travel

per gift, per person, doesn't really matter. it's family. a hundred or two each i'd say.

my sister just turned 22. she wants an ipod. right.

my dad is retired, so he's into anything that will hold his attention for more than 20 minutes. otherwise, the discovery channel.

my mother is a mother. she likes everything.

K....there are ipod competitors that sell pretty much the same thing for far less. Check out a 'Good Guys', otherwise, get your sis a really cool purse, fluffy scarf's, or coat..maybe even Ugg boots.

Dad....if he has a PC, get him a really cool flight simulator game and a Microsoft flight stick. That will keep him busy.

Your mom, take a trip to a perfume store and ask for the latest and greatest. A pair of earrings would be nice to....women always appreciate jewelry.

i think my parents are getting my sister an ipod clone, creative nomad zen xtra, 40 gig model. < $200 at walmart. i hate buying there, but oh well.

i will never, ever buy ugg boots.

my father is almost as computer literate as a rock. but the rock can doubleclick. i'm thinking about a box set of alien autopsy/loch ness monster/bigfoot dvds. he'll love it.

my sister got my mother earrings from newport news. they arrived broken. she exchanged them today.

and manda i've decided on. socks. lots of socks.
