Week 8: Part B

Sylvia Plath’s “Daddy” is a poem steeped in strong emotion. She is clearly speaking about her emotional life alone, and in that she is expressing something true and real. It makes little difference whether the facts of her life are consistent or not. At least in the case of this poem, I feel Plath would strongly disagree with Jeanette Wintersons
