That commie tattoo is a no-go for me. Nice of him to put his political beliefs on his arm like that to weed out any potential patriots as girlfriends.

i think it's actually an homage to woody guthrie. he's a folk singer (named after townes van zandt, in fact), and so is his dad.

If it's not his political beliefs, then that was a really fucking stupid idea to get a tattoo of the hammer and sickle on his arm.

unless there's more to the tattoo than I am seeing, I am not sure how it is a homage to Woody Guthrie....looks like a traditional Soviet icon to me.

He also looks like he's had his share of the drink and drugs......

he used to do a lot of drugs, but he cleaned himself up a couple years ago.
