A few days ago I was inspired to write a new fanfic.  I haven't written it yet, but it's outlined, and I'm waiting to hear back froma friend to see what she thinks.  I laughed at this because it's been YEARS since I've written a fanfic, so anyone who has me on author alert would probably have a shock in their inboxes, lol

LOL, I still have people adding me to their author alerts, even though the last piece of fanfiction I posted was back in '06.

And it's bad fanfiction, very, very bad fanfiction. Every time I see one of those I think to myself "WTF is wrong with these people?"

Mine's the same way. Not only was the writing bad, but the formatting and editing... good lord, what WAS I thinking in thinking it looked great?

But my plots are so bad that a couple of my fics have actually been featured in those LJs/communities where they review bad fics (or mary sues, or all of the above), recieving the completely toxic scoring, etc...

It's fun what you can find when you google your stuff, LOL (but of course when I found it I was still of the impression that they were half decent - not great, but not so terrible, and got pretty defensive - EVERY comment on each of the reviews was replied to x.x)
