In which I rant about Chuck. As in Bartowski, or rather Charles Carmichael. Heavy on spoilers. If you are not completely caught up, do not read this. If you may be thinking about watching this show, do not read this. Start at the very beginning. It's a very good place to start.

Well, I should have stated this for the record sooner, and more than just by IMing Elizabeth, but I knew Jill was not to be trusted.

Let me tell you the main reason why. I have this theory that Bryce Larkin actually runs Fulcrum. I'm not entirely sure of why he would, and what his plans are, but he is clearly rogue after re-downloading the intersect into Chuck's head. Also, they never sufficiently explained why Bryce would have sent Chuck the intersent in the first place. And he did not have time to encrypt it in teh pilot episode like he unless he did it beforehand, which means he had been planning on doing it after all. And I would like to think that he still cares about Chuck, and that he gave him those glasses because he knew they would kill him otherwise, but I can also see a strong case for Bryce having this planned for a long time, and keeping Chuck out of the CIA for more selfish reasons.

So when Jill suddenly appears, fine. But then she is possibly connected to Fulcrum through her boss. And she is too smart not to know something was up with that. So that made me think that they might be fellow conspirators. And I really thought that she was going to reveal herself last episode when she injected Chuck with that virus. I thought to myself, Oh that's convenient, and then I thought about how she immediately hooked up with Bryce back in the day, and since he is Fulcrum in my head, it fit so perfectly to have her be Fulcrum too that I was sure I was right. But then she came in and saved all of those people anyway, I thought I was just hating on the Ex. ALthough now that I think about it more, Bryce could easily have sent in Jill to help break up the Sarah/Chuck thing.

But then this episode, she mysteriously turns up at the hotel (and now I thin kabout it, Chuck's comment on her impeccable timing), and then the Known Fulcrum agent magically finds them at the Opera house. No way. He had absolutely no reason to go there. Plus, it made me nervous when Chuck brought her to their supersecret base. And she looked interested when he had his flashing moment. But hten, when they had their super secret nerd code and the Fulcrum agent somehow turned up. No way. Nunca jamas. There was absolutely no other explanation at all but that Jill was a Fulcrum agent. And hten the ending just built to the obvious conclusion, except that Idid not predict that they would go off the grid.

Now, I have been proven right about Jill, but I realize that my theory about Bryce still has a few holes in it. For example, I can't figure out at the moment why Jill got her boss killed, and why she was being all cooperative with the CIA / NSA. Actually... I was thinking that it would not make sense if she knew that Chuck was the intersect when all this started, but if the whole thing was a lure to get him kidnapped, that works just as well. It's a bit involved, but what tv show plot is not. Oh, that's where some of the problems are. Why did Jill help them find The List. Obviously, she did everything she could to get it back, but they never would have found it in the first place if not for her. Although, perhaps she just could not take the chance that they would find it eventually. Hmm....There's a few holes there.

But Ijust want to say that I believe Chuck called her something like a cold-hearted bitch at hte beginning of last week's episode, and I have seen nothing to suggest otherwise. She is too fake. And she looks just like a brunette version of Sarah. Couldn't they have given her a different height or a different shaped face or something? Glasses are not enough.

Finally, I love Morgan. I was kind of hoping to see Chuck facing some consequences at work, but this is wonderful as well. This served us well in the Harry Tang years. Viva Buy Moria.

In summary, I love this show more than any other right now. (Since DW and Psych are not currently airing and Avatar is done. Otherwise it would be harder to decide.

And then Heroes. No spoilers here. When they don't use their powers, they actually use their brains! Wow! I think that maybe powers and intelligence are inversely porportional to each other in this show (except for a few outliers).
