That episode was sooooooooo much better than the Christmas one. It was awesome.
Really liked Christina, but I wouldn't want her as a Companion I think. I think she would get on my nerves after a while. She's almost...too good?
Highlights:
"Yeah, I'll just go into that police box over there and arrest myself."
Most of the dialog banter between Christina and the Doctor.
"Did you just salute?" ".....No."
*Clicking* "Yes I am.. quite often too." You just know he's telling them how brilliant he is.
"Space man."
Aaaand, that's all I have for direct quote for now. May add some more later. Now on to the most important bit.
First of all, props to the Psychic Lady for being SOOO cryptic. It's hard these days to achieve that level of crypticness. No, I lie. It happens ALL the TIME in Doctor Who. Note to all psychics. It would be vastly more helpful if you, for instance, describe what yo uactually saw. Such as, ah yes. He's a tall bloke with a black moustache, and he's got hoarse voice, and wears galoshes. Or SOMEthing that would actually help the persone out. Of course, I realize that would be no good for television, but still. Anyway.
"He will knock four times." Having read some spoilers, I am reasonably sure I know who this is. However, I would love to be wrong.It's more fun that way. And I don't understand the significance of the knocking.
"But the girl. She will fly." The Doctor never heard Psychic lady say this. However, I am most certain that she was not referring to Christina in the bus. Makes no sense to have that vision in that context.. There's something else I would love to say here, but it is also informed by spoilers, so I won't. Oooooooh. Now I have a new idea. But I can't share it because that would give a hint as to my first idea. Dammit.
"It is returning. It is returning through the dark." I have no spoilers for this so I am going to speculate, speculate speculate. IT is returning. Hmmm... First reaction is Dalek because we just can't ditch those things. Second reaction is the Beast from waaay back when, but that makes no sense, really. Not sure why I thought of it. I think the It is siginifact though. It with an capital I.... It. Knowing Russll T Davies it is going to be an Epic it. Not something less consequential like the Wasp creature from the Agatha Christie episode. Ooooh, possibly the mysterious thing fro mteh Diamond Planet episode? Not likely. The thing is, most of the opponents in DW are They. Or something along those lines. Maybe it's the Bog Bad Wolf in non-Rose form? Okay, I have now looked at a lost of all the episodes, and honestly, it is almost all Theys. Very few Its. .
