Okay. So there was one point in this episode where I thought it was Boyd. Because I thought it had to be someone that we knew. Of course I also suspected Adelle and Ivy and Saunders/Whiskey. But Boyd made the list. But then I got thrown by Whiskey shooting Bennet. (Oh my god, I nearly cried. Strike that. I definitely got teary eyed, especially when Topher was just sitting there). And I was thrown by Adelle walking in to the blown up building like that. And then I was thrown because I forgot from last episode that Clide/Clive was his name and I did not recognize him, so I thought he was the one after all, and I was wrong. But now it is Boyd! And a lot makes sense.
But a lot also doesn't make sense. What is Boyd's end game? Just to create Echo? Really? Dunno. And how would they know ahead of time that she could do that.

Caroline: I almost wish that she'd been a touch more of a bitch.
Bennet. OH MY GOD HOW ADORABLE WAS SHE THIS WHOLE EPISODE. And then - BAM.
Topher: I love you more and more every episode. It still boggles my mind how you went from the bottom of my list to the top.
Echo: I like you better when you are anyone but Echo actually. You just have this very bland face when you are her - especially when you are contemplative.
Adelle: You are lovely, and badass, and a bit of a bitch and awesome. "I'd rather die, bitch." "Well, I'd rather you didn't."
Ivy: Oh my dear. You rock too.
Paul: meh.
Melly: ugh. she's back.
There was more. I was freaking out for most of the episode for one reason or another.
My theory is that actually Echo and Caroline are practically the same personality. Caroline's a bit more full of herself and cavalier, but they seem to have the same essentials. Just different memories.
But a lot also doesn't make sense. What is Boyd's end game? Just to create Echo? Really? Dunno. And how would they know ahead of time that she could do that.
