How do you know if you have strep throat? WITHOUT going to the doctor, thanks. (It takes a lot to go to the doctor for me, since we don't have insurance. My dad has to take a day off work, drive me a couple hours into the valley, and pay something like $100 a visit

White patches in the back of your throat. Also, IT HURTS LIKE HELL. It's like a sore throat only about 100 times worse. Unfortunately, if it IS step throat, you'll need antibiotics. D:
