Perfume! I've read Perfume! I never saw the movie, so I can't say how it compared to the film, but it was okay, though not genius. It was an easy enough read, though. (It got kind of gross after a while though). I should do a 25 book challenge. I never read enough anymore.

The movie was beautiful. (Then again, I take a perverse delight in gross things.) My friend, who read the book and watched the film, said she liked the book more, so I'm curious to see how I'll receive it. I don't always like book versions more than movie versions. For example, I liked the movie incarnation of Memoirs of a Geisha more than the novel incarnation, which I'm sure is considered blasphemous, haha. :)

You should! I started it because I didn't read enough, either. Even though I didn't complete the challenge, I ended up reading more. That's still success in my book. (Pun not intended.)
