ohh, the epic fail

So out of boredom and masochism I caught up with TRC and...

I get it.

I basically had the same theory that nenena delineated (AFTER LYING AWAKE IN BED FOR TWO HOURS THINKING ABOUT IT, I HATE YOU CLAMP) when I first skimmed through the recent chapters.

Seven days? You are shitting me, right. Right?

Dude, would you give up your life and possibly the lives of others to save a girl, not yet turned seven, whom you only knew for seven days? NO, I DIDN'T THINK SO.

There's other stuff I could gripe about too, as well as squee and fangirl over, but it's generally not worth getting worked up over, so.

In conclusion, this manga is not worth the headache. I rate it a big, fat "F." There's people who are able to write stories with twists and turns that fuck with your mind (Yuki Kaori, for example, and JKR), and then there's people who used to be able to write stories with twists and turns that fuck with your mind but then (perhaps realizing they have a faithful and exploitative fanbase) end up writing potentially good stories only to pervert them by making shit up as they go along and sticking in details haphazardly like one sticks needles in a pincushion. These stories still fuck with your mind, but in a thoroughly less enjoyable way. WHICH DO YOU THINK CLAMP IS? I'LL GIVE YOU A HINT.

OH WAIT--

Popularity + a well established readership + reputation + monies + die hard fanbrats who will never utter a single word tarnishing your good name =/= the right to make a shit manga and get away with it. Srsly, CLAMP. Don't you take pride in your work at all? I would personally be ashamed to sign my name to something like that, especially if it's supposed to be my magnum opus, because it is just so shoddily put together. Aren't there supposed to be, you know, personal standards one sets for oneself?

Details are not to be stuck in a storyline when found by the storyteller to be convenient!!
