My mom and I have been watching a few indie films recently, which is really cool because we have similar taste, whereas my father can't handle most films that are realistic. What a coincidence. We just watched American Chai the other day, too. I don't think it was stereotypical at all. Sure, it was predictable, but I haven't seen any other movies dealing so specifically with the issue of Asian immigrants and their children. It really resonated with me.

I'll have you know that the most attractive "service representative" was one of the guys who assembled my bed. I think he was Indian, or perhaps multiracial.

Besides, my bed came mattressless.
