Oh, also...I'm considering getting a pair of glasses, because I've realized I think they look hot on others. Should I get a pair, and if so, what kind?

And yes, just in case you were really dense, I wear contacts. And no, they're not colored.

I'm near-sighted, so I'd pretty much keep my glasses on 24/7...I'll have to check those glasses out.

Aren't you supposed to have a backup pair with contacts anyway? For emergencies or whatever?

I'm getting sick of glasses -- I'm ready for lasik (but the optometrist said I should wait until I'm 25 and my eyes have fully matured).

i have a pair...somewhere. unless you bring them with you 24/7 though, they're not all that great for emergencies. I mean, I have spare contacts at home, and it's not like I'd take a pair of backup glasses with me at all times...

I'm scared by lasik. I don't like the idea, however rational and normal, of a laser going in my eyeball.

I think I'll be a squirmer but I want to do it when I can since guys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses.

And also you have to clean them every day and other annoyances that come with them.

lasik freaks me out too... i don't like the idea that the "flap" stays on your cornea forever.

although if they could give me general or something, i'd do it in a heartbeat :)

you should get something angular, no round lenses... and I would suggest dark frames
