well today the landlord came to say he only got one of our rent checks and now we have to fill out applications so he knows who lives here. there is no lease and we give our deposits to whoever's room we're filling. also, the guy is a slumlord who's been in jail for a bunch of things related to the houses he rents out. anyway, i wanted to tell him

we had that same problem in the first apartment we moved to in san diego. no vent, windows wouldn't open, it was a bad combination. the mold got all over everything...clothes, books, shoes, etc...

but i guess the good news is i'm still alive? =) also, i remember being sicker than i usually was when i was living there.
