Have you checked the common room for it? There were still a lot of school things piled around there, last I saw.

There is always school things piled everywhere in our common room. I want to summon it with a simple spell, but I fear tens of thousands of notebooks will come flying at me and eventually I'll die from being hit by a multitude of notebooks.

Actually, I did check. It wasn't there. I've asked Madame Pince too.
