Ok, so I read The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Finished it today, in b n_n But, it's pretty much the same thing over and over. It's just a man and a boy who tries to survive, I think, after a nuclear winter. Remember those things back in US History where it was the US vs the USSR? Or was it Cuba? Oh man, I thought you wrote the review thing, because I didn't notice the text of that cut and thought "Wow, I feel immensely small compared to Tanya's brain :("

I have to say, I rather don't like the books Mr Sloan chose.

sorry to be another random comment but I was having a really hard time finding a quote in the book (i loved the book by the way) but i think you may have misread the very last section (i mean this in the nicest way possible and only to help) it says "once there were brook trout" i am pretty sure this is a flash back, i don't think any trout survived...
