Oh I was sooooooo excited when I saw the prompt that was chosen. It was definitely the one I wanted to see the most! I have my suspicions as to the author, the style is certainly familiar!

This is gorgeous, another chapter to add to my favorite ship in fanfic: Jasper|Leah, but only C&I Jasper|Leah. This is fantastic, so true to Mini's characterizations, with the author's subtle traits blended right in. Jasper using my nickname for Alice was a huge smile-inducer...how very flattering!

Best of the whole story though, the journal entries. I'm not a particularly emotional person, but I teared up while reading them. I love the transition from Alice's entries, youthful but knowing, southern "voice" just right from the sound in my head. Then the switch to Cynthia's child-like writing, naive and simple developing as the girl herself grew. So sad, but so beautiful at the end. I do believe that was all Alice needed to hear, that she was indeed loved.

I loved this. I also teared up during this story, but started when Jasper and Leah were talking with Marie. Yes, I am a wuss, but this was so emotional and I'm just happy for Alice - that Jasper was able to "make it right".

I really loved Minisinoo's C&I and loved that this carried on with that relationship.
