This story was remarkable. I still can't get over how much effort and time went into it.
I'm very impressed.
The ending fit just like I imagined it would - we got our HEA and then some. Love hearing Edward and Bella get to be more like Rosalie and Emmett, together, making love, and breaking furniture, rather than the couple in BD. The BD ending didn't sit well with me. This seems more complete and final.
I was engaged throughout. This gave me several days of reading!
It's probably my favorite of the exchange.
Great job, darling!
(Only minor little thing, just in case you plan on submitting it elsewhere. You wrote: "Still unable to refuse her anything after almost seven years of marriage." - Wouldn't it be closer to eight years of marriage? You wrote 7 years after the events and they'd already been married for nearly a year by the time of the kidnapping. Just in case! Clearly I read this story very closely. *Giggles*)
Your review absolutely slayed me! I am so pleased that you enjoyed it. I felt like I had overdone things a bit with this ambitious plot and story, but when I read my prompt this is what came to mind. However, I thought I could do it in a one shot, but it kept getting bigger and bigger in my mind, so then I knew it had to be a multi-chapter fic. Despite the 15 chapters here, it really needed to be more because I found myself telling the story rather than showing it in some places because I couldn't afford for it to get any bigger. LOL
Thanks for the heads up on the math error. I never was any good in math in school ;)
AMAZING!!! This was so wonderfully written! I can't wait for the reveal so I can add it to my faves! You are a wonderful writer! I loved how you even cited sources and broke everything down at the end. I am sad that Bella had to stop seeing her parents when nosy folks started to notice she wasn't getting older. I thought they would have sent for them to visit where ever they ended up but since they didn't I am glad that the Swans were able to to know they were doing ok since they recieved the gifts from them. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent!!
Oh, thank you so much! I am going to put this in the FFN and hopefully Twilighted archives so others can read it. It will be fleshed out a bit more then, because I was running out of time during the writing and had to tell rather than show some elements of the story.
The separation from her parents at the end was necessary due to the volatility of their realationship with the Volturi. Her parents could never know "the secret."
This was such a great story. I started reading it yesterday evening and stayed up way too late to finish it lol. I myself had heart surgery, but mine was when i was little, so I loved how he treated her scar. So sweet.
