Name: H/Allelujah Haptism
Age: 20
Canon Point: I'll be pulling H/Allelujah from the end of Season 1- after the events of episode 23, but before the final battle against the UN Forces.
Is this character dead?Nope!~
History: Wiki-link~
[Optional] Character Development and Relationship Transfer from previous RP: N/A
Personality: I'll divide this into two sections:
Allelujah is polite, quiet, peaceful, and kind. He's the kind of guy that doesn't talk much, but would ask questions as to how you're doing, what you've been up to, and then go back to reading whatever book he has this week. He's very formal with people he doesn't know (and those he does), pleasant, and, though introverted, friendly in his own way.

All of the niceties and conversations, though, tend to be rather distanced. Allelujah will ask others about themselves rather than bring up himself. He'll try to help others with their problems without being a burden to them, to serve others, and keep himself distanced and isolated inside. He very rarely truly confides in others his emotions on things. This doesn't mean that he holds back his opinion, of course, simply his motivations.

I assume (and of course, the following is my take:) that it's a holdover from when he was a child- treated as an experiment, little more than a labrat, all he knew was to follow orders and hope that they didn't designate him as a failure and kill him. So long as he accomplished what he had to, he would survive, and complaints and personal feelings really had little place when pitted to fight against other children (As seen in the official art book story by Yun Kouga.) In the first official novel (The same canon, same story, simply expanded upon,) it's revealed that the rejected children were poisoned and quickly taken away in bags, where all the other children could see it happen. Therefore, all through Allelujah's childhood, death was a very real possibility at any time, and there would be no warning. There was always the possibility of messing up and not being told, and simply killed for it, and so he bows his head and agrees where he needs to, states his opinion, but does not truly vocalize his feelings on things unless it is warranted-- Because earning disapproval from 'superiors' will lead to death.

Anyway, back to the original point: When he DOES feel comfortable with a person, he will slowly admit to things about himself- for instance, Sumeragi Lee Noriega is a friend of his in series, enough for him to share a drink with and admit to his split personalities. it takes much more time, however, before he speaks to her about Marie in Season 2. (Admittedly, that was after he spent 4 years as a prisoner of War, which had a MAJOR impact on his personality and mental state.) It takes a while for him to confide in people.

Altogether his logic can be shaky- Despite his calm and reserved appearance, Allelujah is still insane, believes that he is encompassed of two split personalities-- he can be very selfish and skew logic and his beliefs to fit this. In episode 11, when faced with the task of destroying the SuperSoldier Organization that created him, he had a full-on psychotic episode, complete with hallucinations of Hallelujah-- and he continued to proclaim that they didn't have to kill these children, that they could, instead save them, take them away from war, raise them elsewhere. Which is kind of probably not going to happen. (Hallelujah calls him out on his bullshit, thankfully.)

TL;DR- Allelujah is nice, polite, quiet, and formal, but distanced to conceal his inner guilt complexes, his aversion to burdening others, and his crazy.

And, Hallelujah:

Hallelujah is, simply put, one half of a whole, and this influences his personality radically.

On the surface, the man is crazed and violent. The few times we see him in series, he's impaling a man's cockpit with an open communications channel, just to listen to the man scream for help as he tangents. He presses and presses for Allelujah to destroy a building housing hundreds of their brethren, killing the young, altered children because it's the only way, skewing their perception so that Allelujah could see it as an act of mercy, an act of survival, and the only choice. He displays an almost unnatural bloodlust in battle, enjoying nothing more than fighting, living, and having torn down and crushed his opponent. He speaks down to Allelujah, his dominant 'half', calls him out on his lapses in judgment, and yet at the same time patronizingly refers to his creator as "Allelujah-sama". He manipulates the man to hide the fact that their main enemy is a childhood friend, so that Allelujah won't hesitate to kill her. Hallelujah is a man very much used to doing whatever it takes to get what he wants.

All of this can be boiled down to a few main motivations, though. The first is survival. Hallelujah was created specifically to ensure Allelujah's survival in the HRL's research facility. When Allelujah couldn't attack, Hallelujah would. When Allelujah is too scared to pull a trigger, Hallelujah happily takes over. He was created to be a mental shield for Allelujah, so that he could still accomplish what he had to- horrific acts of violence-but without the self-loathing that came with it. He was created to survive, and thus he will ensure that through any means possible. This gives him a very self-centric world-view. He finds himself the most important person, he'll sacrifice nearly anything for himself.

At times, though, he makes comments that hint to less-survivalistic motivations. During the Destruction of the SSO, Hallelujah proclaims that he would kill them all, if only to prove his existence. Since he's more of a glorified imaginary friend than a real person, there's no trace of him being a person outside of the realm of Alle's psyche. He has a need to leave imprints, some sort of proof of himself, and it can come across as very childish at times. He's very aware of his own inexistence and wishes to rebel against it.

He also tends to be prideful, which can occasionally lead to recklessness-though if Hallelujah can recognize he's in a bad spot, survival will always come before pride-always. While he can get carried away, he has no qualms with turning and fleeing to ensure that he can live another day.

Hallelujah's logic can be shaky and hard to follow simply because it deviates from normal human tendencies. He has little to no grasp on human interaction outside of battle, and his twisted sense of humor is rarely shared. He's capable of making an effort, but the majority of his interactions are all a facade. He simply doesn't understand most human emotions because they weren't required for him-that's what Allelujah was for. In this remark, he's very much like an ill-socialized child that doesn't understand why there's a problem when he shoves another kid off a slide and the kid breaks his arm. Because really, he's only 'existed' for about ten years, and most of those years were spent on the run from the HRL or training to be a terrorist in a Gundam. There's not experience with other people.

Even when he doesn't mean ill towards people-when they earn a grudging respect or if they're an ally, Hallelujah can still come off as completely callous of them. Again, he doesn't know how to interact with people outside of a battle. In a friendly spar, he might very well get carried away and break the other person's arm-and his "apology" would be stopping and correcting what got their arm broken, before leaving. It's 'nice' because they're still alive and he's not driven to tear them apart with his teeth in the heat of things.

He doesn't get that "better than the alternative" does not mean "good."

tldr: Hallelujah is ruthless, violent, self-centric, prideful, manipulative, childish, and really bad with pronouns.

Skills/Abilities: Alright, I'll try and make this quick:

Enhances Physical Abilities: Due to SSO enhancements, H/Allelujah is physically in his peak. Nanomachines upkeep his musculature and constantly repair tissue to enhance his endurance. He's compact, but with dense muscles, lending him above-average strength. he was built to be fast, agile, and precise, and he fulfills these qualifications spectacularly. While he's not super-human, he's a few steps above average in speed and power from beign created as a super soldier.

Mentally, he's in another field entirely. Hallelujah possesses something called Quantum Brain Waves. These confusing bits of plot device are.. complicated. Simply put, H/Allelujah's brain operates on an extra level. While he has all the normal functioning of a mind, he also has brainwaves that operate on a quantum level, able to move farther and sense extra things. On its most basic level, it's similar to ESP-He can sense movement in a 360 degree arc around himself, extending quite a ways out. Even while battling in a nearly-20-meter-tall mobile suit, he can sense the movements of other suits around him and react in time to block their attacks. It gives him extra reaction time, forewarning him of all the movement around him.

Quantum Brainwaves also allow communication amongst QBW users, hivemind style. Which sounds awesome until you realize that some users (Such as Super Soldiers) cannot control their output or their receiving of QBWs. This can cause a bleedover of thoughts and emotions-such as when approaching the SSO building in Episode 11, Allelujah can hear the screams of children in his mind as he approached, the children tortured just because of the proximity of his QBWs.

That's because of a lovely little thing called Interference. When two QBW users are close, their brainwaves might interfere, creating migraines, intense pain, and all sorts of other nasty effects. Allelujah feels this most with Soma Peries-the two cannot be close without one of the two passing out.

So, H/Allelujah can sense things and mentally connect with QBW users-the thing is, Hallelujah is a little special with the connections. For one, he can block the interference of Soma's brainwaves. He feels no pain from her proximity. For another, he is able to torture another Super Soldier (Leonard, In 00P) with his brainwaves at will. It's hinted that Hallelujah can shift the frequency of his brainwaves, as he has a much greater control of them as Allelujah.

Which makes sense, seeing as he lives in Alle's brain and was created because of them.

First Person Sample: [A video feed clicks on neatly and purposefully- the Tablet seems as though it's been placed carefully, showing a young man from the chest up. His dark hair is neatly parted and obscuring his right eye, though the visible gray one is alert-though the man does look slightly shaken. Possibly the oddest thing is his outfit-a burnt orange flightsuit, from what can be seen]

I require some information-Any way to check a local news source would be appreciated, as well as where I can find lodging for the night.

[The man hesitates for a moment.] If anyone knows of any updates regarding the conflict with Celestial Being, I would be much obliged to hear it. I was following the developments rather intently prior to my arrival here.

[He seems to consider saying more, but instead reaches forward to turn off the feed. Someone is not very social.]

Third Person Sample: This was all wrong.

He had stumbled in a daze from the boat, away from the bidding farewells of skeletal hands, slowly examining a primitive tablet as though it was something strange, new, and fascinating. Allelujah had walked forward from the dock before finally finding a place to sit, removing his helmet and setting it down beside him with a dull thunk. He was meant to be aboard the Ptolemy, preparing to sortie for a large battle. He was meant to be battling the UN forces, protecting his crewmates, and quietly, mutually mourning the recent lost of one of their own.

He was meant to be making some kind of a difference, not being... Wherever he was. Earth, by the feel of the gravity. His fingers tightened on the tablet, but he moved a hand over the screen.

He could only barely remember how he had arrived, and there was a solidly blank gap between powering up Kyrios's systems and arriving here.

Perhaps he was simply hallucinating. His gloves brushed the touchscreen again, and he frowned as it failed to react, digits shaking as he moved to remove the fabric over his hands. Hallucination, nightmare, or whatever else it could be, he would achieve nothing by simply waiting for answers, righ--

"Oh? Is Allelujah being proactive?"

He started slightly at the familiar, cheerful murmur in his ear. Swiveling to the side, he found a hallucination of himself standing beside and behind him, bent at the waist to put them at eye level. Hallelujah wasted no time as he began speaking again.

"I almost expected you to be moping about in despair." Lips twisted cruelly, the smile containing a small flash of canines. His golden eye swiveled to meet Allelujah's in a sort of deranged challenge.

"Hallelujah," He spoke the words quietly, glancing up, as though checking for anyone nearby. After leveling his other half with a stern gaze, he looked down to the tablet and began to navigate the system. "...I won't pretend that I understand this situation. We need to get back."

"Good." Hallelujah stood up straight, a hand resting on thin hips as he watched over his physical side's shoulder. "Get us home. I'm going to kill that Girly."
