And not just London although my old home area of Ealing got a going over. There was minor trouble here last night too, but this is a barracks town and you've got to be pretty dim to want to tangle with the redcaps!

The No True Scottsman fallacies on the #riotcleanup tag are impressive. No wonder kids don't feel like they're part of the community; they have an internet full of people telling them they aren't.

And police to reinforce the message: stop-and-search isn't being used in tiny villages in Hampshire, or in largely white and upper- or middle-class areas. It's being used only against POC and members of the working class, another daily reminder that they're "other".
