Despite the Coalition victory, Saturday night was pretty fun. penchantforit & I were synchronised for once (I think I've learnt to arrive late whenever he's concerned) and we got to see good music at no cost. Phew! I've spent a fair portion of this evening running away from a cockroach. I set my kitty onto it to try and make it go away, but now she just follows me around with it in her mouth. ickickick!

The girl I sit next to in Lit thinks I like the boy that sits on the other side of me. It's funny and ridiculous, and very untrue. But it's nice to have someone to talk to, because this year, although mercifully quick, has been pretty damn lonely.

The Howard government has always had a strong stance on the use of hostages, asserting that giving into terrorism for the sake of a few lives does noone any good. Yesterday I finally worked up the courage to get my ears pierced for the first time. And almost passed out afterwards.
Needless to say, I doubt I'll be getting any more piercings any time soon!

(and although I'm late joining the party, yay for Stargate being back on!)
