[ So Vanyel has just seen this crow, right? Oh, funny, it's made him really angry. Wonder why that could be. Maybe it has something to do with it looking very much like the thing that recently disemboweled someone very important to him.

It looks like we have caught Van at a very bad time. ]

You--!

[ What follows, very abruptly, is a noise much ( Read more... )

[Axel's handwriting, as it appears, is all sharp angles and wild lines, and looks very nice in the way that a knife's edge looks nice.]

It's a bird that turns into paper. What's not to understand?

[ Van's writing, in contrast, is a tight and efficient cursive. Way to be unhelpful, Axel! xD He's still using his working!voice, so he might be, ah, cold. ]

That begins with why I have one.

I don't really know how to explain this, sorry. The crow turns into paper parchment when you need it to. It's part of this place. We've all got one. Mine's called Chrysalid.

Don't try to hurt it. Trust me, it's not a good idea.

And... [Long, long pause] This might sound sort of insane, but.

Well.

You're dead.

[ Long pause in which lots of thinking happens. The sounds of the gears whizzing and whirring in his head are almost audible as he tries to make sense of this batshittery. Finally, he decides that you're likely a civilian, the statement about death meant "you will likely be dead soon" and was just an opinion. xD ]

Perhaps, though I intend to put up quite a fight, should it come to that. Who is in charge of assigning these crows to each person?

The Reaper. He's basically in charge of everything here.

But I don't think you get it. You're dead. Putting up a fight isn't an issue.

It might not look like it, but this is the afterlife. Apparently, we're in hell (although it's really not all that bad, and it's definitely better than home) and we're... definitely dead. I called home and everything. My earthly remains are currently buried in Derry. In several pieces.

Sorry.

[Harry writes in block capitals, not the neatest writing ever, and writes fast, as if he's got a lot of work to do he wishes]

It's a bird you really don't want to kill, that's what it is.

So I've recently been told. I would guess that there are some incredibly painful repercussions for anyone who tries?

Don't hurt that bird, you'll regret it.

So I hear. I mistook it for something else - what exactly does it do should you manage to hurt it, rather than turn it into parchment?

Oh, yes... *blush* the worse Kamui-player ever is here :D nice to meet you! kamui_vampiro January 20 2010, 12:49:51 UTC
I see, so you already know where you are...
He'll be back after a while, I guess, no one can permanently die in sheol... and the Reaper'll not appreciate it. Probably he'll make you regret your choiche in the next full moon.
not like someone really hurt it since I arrived here so I'm not sure...

What does the Reaper do on the full moon, exactly?
